We found it in white gold; made in the years when Piaget manufactured such timepieces in unbelievably small runs, as if testing whether understatement could be a flex.

And then I saw the dial. Jade, perfectly cut, a slab of stone with the patience of mountains. In Asia, jade is a religion.
