Put that onyx in the Jaeger‑LeCoultre Ref. 9117 and you get something incredible. The case is a square dress watch from the 1970s, produced in tiny numbers, yet it carries itself like it stepped out of an Art Deco sketchbook. The secret is in the bracketed lugs which give the watch a softened geometry. This is a square that refuses to be static.

Most sightings of the 9117 are in yellow gold, and already scarce. But this one is in white gold. Jaeger‑LeCoultre simply didn’t make many white-gold pieces and when you consider this for a reference this limited, the rarity is truly next level.

Inside, the Caliber 818/2 hums with quiet pedigree. Born in 1959 as an ultra thin movement, it became the unspoken standard for many other prestigious houses.
